  • Elementary school cheerleaders must be picked up at the post office by a parent. Middle school cheerleaders will be allowed to leave to find their parents at the end of the parade, unless I am otherwise notified.

  • Additional parking is also available at Ruby Isle Shopping Center.
Parade Route Information
  • The parade will begin at BCHS, travel west on Gebhardt Road to Calhoun Road, then north on Calhoun to North Avenue, and west on North Avenue to Norhardt – approximately 1.5 miles.
Volunteer Request
  • A few cheer moms or dads are requested to walk in the parade with us. We’ll have a cooler on wheels with spray bottles that needs to be pulled along with us, and we’ll periodically spritz the girls will cold water to keep them cool.
  • One cheer mom or dad is needed to pick up a cooler filled with water bottles and popsicles from me at BCHS prior to the parade start, then brought to us at the end of the parade.
  • If you take photos of us during the parade, please email them to me when you get home!  I’ll post them on our website, and include them in our slideshow at the end of the season awards banquet.
  • Please email me at juniorlancercheer@gmail.com if you’re able to help!
General Information
  • Traffic on Calhoun Road will close promptly at 9:30am
  • The access road behind BCHS football stadium is closed.
  • If there is inclement weather on the day of the parade, call the Recreation Newsline at 414-297-9565 for the status of the parade. In the event of a downpour or lightening while the parade is in progress, the coaches will exit the parade route with the cheerleaders as quickly as possible, and Coach Uhrle will send a group text informing parents of our new pick-up location.
  • There will be no stunting or tumbling allowed during the parade.
