  • The shell, skirt, bodyliner and poms are considered custom items and are non-refundable and unable to be exchanged.
  • The briefs and shoes can be exchanged for different sizes or returned for a refund less return shipping fees.
  • Please contact me if you need to schedule a different day for pick-up.
Friday, July 29th
  • The girls have been working really hard all summer, and it's wonderful to watch their improvement each week!
  • Cheerleaders should share their specific tumbling goals with Josh so he can help them during their 1:1 time at practice.
  • Please remind cheerleaders that their hair should be up in a high ponytail and cheer shoes should be worn during tumbling practice.
Birthdays This Week

Happy Birthday 2nd Grader Marisa!

Installment #2 Reminder
  • Installment #2 was due on Wednesday, July 20th.  Please submit payment as soon as possible.
  • As a reminder, cheerleaders with past-due accounts are not permitted to participate in any JLC event until their account is in good standing.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Fall Team Tumbling Classes at Heat Athletics
  • Fall tumbling classes at Heat Athletics will be held on Tuesdays, with the exact time TBD (likely 5pm or 6pm).
  • The Beginner Level will be limited to 15 cheerleaders, and will be $6 per class.  I currently have the following cheerleaders listed for fall beginner level tumbling:  Corinne F., Kenzie C., Lauren H., Marisa R., Miranda G., Riley S., and Samantha A.
  • The Intermediate Level will be limited to 10 cheerleaders, and will be $10 per class. I currently have the following cheerleaders listed for fall intermediate level tumbling:  Genevieve H., Katy N., Melanie V., Reagan L., and Tara Z.
  • Registration forms will be distributed within the next 2 weeks, and payment is required to secure your spot.
Splash Bash Re-cap
  • It was wonderful seeing so many of you at our Splash Bash yesterday!  It's hard gathering a group together during the summer, and we missed those that were unable to come due to other commitments.  The food was yummy and the company was second-to-none. I had a great time and hope you did too!
  • Thank you to the Neis Family for donating the Marcus Theatre gift basket and the Shah Family for donating the Arts & Crafts gift basket!
  • Thank you also to those families that purchased additional raffle tickets!  Our basket raffle fundraiser was a huge success - we raised $83.50 towards our end-of-the-season awards banquet! Congratulations to Karina W., Meghan U., Noell J., Reagan L., Tara Z. and cheer dad Charlie Cox on winning gift baskets!
  • Photos have been uploaded into a private online gallery to protect the images as the girls are in their swimming suits - please email me for the URL and password to view the photos.
  • Stay tuned for a fall family social in mid-October!
Spiritwear Store
  • Due to multiple requests, the online spiritwear store will be re-opened for an additional 5 days, from Tuesday, July 26th through Saturday, July 30th.  At the time of this post, the online store URL has not yet been created.  Visit our website on Tuesday morning for the URL to the online store.
  • This will be your last chance to order spiritwear for the cheer season!  It may be hard to think about wearing hoodies, sweatpants, or microfleece jackets, but your cheerleader will appreciate having them at those cold and wet fall football games!
  • The reopening of the store will change the estimated delivery date to the week of August 17th.  Spiritwear will be distributed at practice.
Team Managers
  • We are looking for two amazing cheer moms or dads to volunteer as Team Managers - one for 2nd - 4th grade, and one for 7th grade.
  • Your primary responsibilities are running the music at football games, assembling competition goodie bags, and coordinating team carbo crams.
  • If this sounds like something you're interested in, please email me for more information.
Feather Hair Extensions
  • The JLC dress code prohibits cheerleaders to wear feather hair extensions at JLC events because they are a safety hazard if they fall out on the cheer mats during practice or competitions.
  • I will allow the cheerleaders to keep their feather hair extensions for the month of August, but they must be removed when practice moves indoors to Wisconsin Hills Middle School in September.
  • Please read the complete JLC dress code here.
Call to Action
  • If you'd like to get added to the fall tumbling list, email me with your name and current skill level.
  • Place your spiritwear orders this week - this is your last chance for the season!
  • Email me if you're interested in being a 2nd - 4th grade or 7th grade Team Manager.
  • Cheerleaders - give your mom and dad a hug and thank them for supporting you as a Junior Lancer Cheerleader!
Have a great week everyone!
