Monday, November 7th
NO CHEER PRACTICE

Wednesday, November 9th
CHEER PRACTICE
  • 2nd - 4th Grade and 7th Grade: 5:30 - 7pm
  • 5th - 6th Grade and 8th Grade: 6:30 - 8pm
  • Mat Set-Up Crew:  Victoria, Vika, Katrina, Sophia and Agathe.
  • Mat Clean-Up Crew:  Lexi, Mara, Miranda, Emma, Olivia, and Kaitlyn.
  • This is our 3rd to the last practice before our competition, and it is a mandatory practice for all cheerleaders to attend for the full entire practice or they may be removed from their stunt groups.

Wednesday, November 16th
FULL DRESS REHEARSAL
  • Regular practice times. 
  • All girls must come to practice in full competition dress code from head-to-toe.  Poms are NOT needed.

Friday, November 18th
JLC FAMILY CARBO CRAM
  • All grade levels and their families will come together for our first carbo cram.
  • 6 - 7:30pm at Panera Ruby Isle.
  • Cheerleaders will sit in the reserved community room.  Parents and siblings will sit in main dining area.
  • Girls have option to make special spirit star sticks for their parents to hold in the audience during their performance.  $5 materials fee must be pre-paid to Coach Uhrle by Wednesday, November 16th. 
Saturday, November 26th
COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
  • All cheerleaders are invited to ring bells for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign!  This is a great opportunity for JLC to make a difference in our community during the holiday season!
  • Noon - 3pm.  Sign up for 1 or 2 hour shifts.  All grades are invited to help!
  • Brookfield Square, near Santa Claus and JC Penney.
  • RSVP your time (12 - 1pm, 1 - 2pm, 2 - 3pm) to Coach Uhrle.  Make it fun by signing up for shifts with your teammates!
  • All participants will receive community service hours and recognition at our end of the season banquet.

October Honor Roll
Congratulations to the following cheerleaders on making the Perfect Attendance Honor Roll for the month of October ...
  • 2nd - 4th Grade:  Ana, Claire, and Kenzie
  • 5th & 6th Grade:  Ana, Emma, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Melanie, Reagan and Yasi.
  • 7th Grade:  Agathe, Bridget, Candice, Carly, Eva, Layne, Sophia, Teja, Victoria and Vika.
  • 8th Grade:  Corinne, Hannah, Jaida, Karina, and Lexi Sh.
  • In order to make Honor Roll, you must attend all practices for the month, arrive on time, and stay for the entire practice. 

JLC Challenge
  • Our grand prize is up to $60!
  • Last chance to participate - submit your $20 for 4 Boston Store Community Day coupon books to Coach Uhrle at practice on Wednesday, November 9th to get your raffle ticket.
  • Grand prize drawing will take place on Wednesday, November 16th at 6:45pm!
 
Fundraising Opportunities
  • Marcus Theatres Movie Tickets - Participating families earn 10% profit on their total amount sold.  Orders and payment due to Coach Uhrle at practice on Wednesday, November 16th - NO EXCEPTIONS!  Families that submit at least $200 in orders can earn free movie tickets!  Tickets will be distributed at practice on Monday, November 28th.
  • Stone Creek Coffee - Participating families earn $2.50 per 1lb bag of coffee sold and $1.50 per tin of hot cocoa sold.  Be sure to let families and friends know JLC will offer our very own exclusive custom blend of coffee - the coffee label will be printed with our JLC logo!  Makes a great holiday gift for the coffee lovers in your life!  Orders and payment due to Coach Uhrle at practice on Wednesday, November 16th - NO EXCEPTIONS!  Coffee will be distributed at practice on Monday, December 5th.
  • Contact me if you'd like an order form for either fundraiser.  Profits earned can be used to pay for winter tumbling classes, or to pay for your family's tickets to our end of the season banquet!
 
NEW Winter Tumbling at Heat Athletics
November 19th, 2011 - February 18th, 2012
  • Beginner Level - Tuesdays from 5 - 6pm.  $6 per class, $76 total.  Download registration form here.
  • Intermediate Level - Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30pm.  $10 per class, $120 total.  Must have back handspring with light spot.  Download the registration form here.
  • Please mail payment and registration form directly to Gary Joers at Heat Athletics (address is listed on registration form).
