Important announcements ...

DECEMBER 7th & 14th PRACTICES
  • We WILL have practices at WHMS on December 7th and 14th - NOT Swanson, as shared last week.  Practice times are the normal, regular practice times.
  • Thank you to the Crow, Green, Schmidt, Shah and Shudy families for offering to help transport mats.  Your support is appreciated!

DECEMBER 19TH & 21ST AND JANUARY 2ND & 4TH PRACTICES - MANDATORY
  • The final 4 practices leading up to competition are mandatory for all cheerleaders to attend for the full practices.
  • December 19th & 21st and January 2nd & 4th are our final four practices leading up to the Bring on the Heat competition on January 8th.
  • We will also have extended practice sessions for these final four practices, that impact 5th - 6th and 8th Grade most ... 2nd - 4th and 7th Grade will practice from 5:30 - 7pm, and 5th & 6th and 8th Grade will practice from 7 - 8:30pm.  This will give the girls maximum time on the cheer mats.

ABSENCES
  • Please remember that all cheerleader absences should be called, texted or emailed to me prior to practice, so the coaches can plan accordingly.
  • There are several families that are at or have passed the 3 absences during the competition season policy.  I am doing my best to accommodate all families, however, please be aware that per JLC policy, your daughter can be pulled from her stunt group once she has had 3 absences during the competition season.  This includes cheerleaders that arrive late and/or leave early on a regular basis for other activities. If this decision is made, it is not open to negotiation, and will be final for the remainder of the season.  All families signed the JLC cheer constitution agreeing to this policy when they registered for JLC.
  • Please be aware that going forward should a coach be absent from practice, I will need to cancel practice for that team.  As much advance notice of the practice cancellation will be given to the team as it is given to me by the coach.
