Boston Store Community Day Fundraising for 2012 - 2013 Season

  • JLC is participating in the Spring Community Day fundraising event. We are selling in-store for 2 hour shifts each weekend through the end of April.  Fundraising is optional, and not mandatory.
  • Profits earned during the shift are split equally among all individuals present, and are applied to next season's cheer fees.
  • We have spots available on the following days: March 31st, April 7th, 14th, and 21st. Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
  • If you'd like to sign up for a spot to sell in-store, please email me and let me know what date you prefer and I'll confirm via email if there's a spot available.

Birthdays this week ...

  • March 26th - Reagan and Vika

Important Announcements ...

Ear piercing ...

  • If your daughter is returning to JLC and would like to get her ears pierced, the off-season is a great time to do this, so she'll have sufficient time for her ears to heal before the cheer season begins.
  • As a reminder, piercings must be removed for all JLC practices and events.

Coach Uhrle's availability during the off-season ...

  • With the exception of the weekly newsletters and upcoming events listed below, I will be generally "on vacation" from JLC until May 3, 2012. I will still answer emails during this time, but please allow me 3 - 4 days to respond.

Upcoming Events ...

July 29th - August 11th
2012 - 2013 Choreography Days

  • If your daughter will be cheering with JLC next season, please keep these 2 weeks clear for choreography.
  • Choreography will be split into 3 days, with each day being 3 - 4 hours in length. The exact days are TBD and may be held on non-JLC summer practice days (summer practice days are TBD).
  • Choreography days will be held at the Heat Athletics cheer facilities in Sussex, WI.
  • Choreography is MANDATORY for all Junior Lancer Cheerleaders. This is an important time for cheerleaders to work together with their teammates, coaches and professional choreographer to learn their routine for the season. If cheerleaders are not in attendance this time is not nearly as productive, and places a burden on the team and coach.
  • Exact choreography days and times by team will be shared as soon as possible, and no later than the parent meeting on May 3rd.
