Upcoming Events ...

Thursday, May 3rd
JLC 2012 - 2013 Parent Information Night
  • WHMS Cafeteria at 7pm
  • Come out to learn more about our program, meet our coaching staff, and be the first to register for our upcoming season!
  • IMPORTANT:  All cheerleaders and families should hold July 29th - August 11th for choreography.  Choreography is mandatory for all cheerleaders to attend.  Choreography is 10 hours of personalized 1:1 instruction and training with the Head Coach and Choreographer, and will be split into three 3-4 hours sessions.  Choreography may be scheduled on non-JLC practice days.  Exact dates will be shared by June 1st.  Choreography is a time for teams to come together to learn their entire competition routine from start to finish.  This cannot be as productive or effective if a team member is missing.  All stunts will be taught during choreography days as well, and if a team member isn't present, we cannot guarantee that they will be part of a stunt group.

Wisconsin Hills Run for the Hills 5K

Sunday, May 6th
  • We will once again cheer on the runners at this event (formerly known as the Hillside Hawk Run Walk).
  • Please email your RSVP to juniorlancercheer@gmail.com if you'd like to participate - it's always a fun event!
  • This is the last official event for 2011 - 2012 Junior Lancer Cheerleaders - hope to see many of you there!

Elm Grove Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 28th

  • JLC Cheer Clinic participants and registered 2012 - 2013 cheerleaders are invited to march in the parade.  BC Cheer will also march with us in the parade.
  • We have a new spiritwear t-shirt for girls to wear in the parade.  The t-shirt order form can be downloaded here (you can still order a t-shirt even if you're unable to march with us in the parade!)  T-shirt orders are due on April 30th, and will be distributed the week of May 20th.

UCA Cheer Camp
Sunday, June 3rd
  • Badger High School in Lake Geneva, WI.
  • Open to the first 30 athletes registered for the 2012 - 2013 season.  Fee will be paid by JLC.  Should you commit to, but then not come to the camp, you will be responsible for reimbursing the camp fee to JLC.
  • This camp is run by the Universal Cheerleaders Association and will be attended by more than 400 cheerleaders around the region.
  • We will look into chartering a bus to transport the girls from Brookfield to Lake Geneva.  Cost of the bus will be shared by all JLC athletes attending the camp.

Quote of the week ...
