Coming up this week ...

JLC Spiritwear Sales
  1. Go to
  2. Hover your mouse over "Team Spiritwear/Uniforms" located in the left menu bar under the heading "Browse by Category".  A pop-up window will appear listing all the different spiritwear sales currently ongoing at Burghardt's.
  3. Click "BCHS Jr Lancer Cheer" to view JLC's spiritwear catalog.
  • This is our one and only spiritwear sale for the entire season.  No late orders will be accepted.
  • All orders must be ordered online and paid via debit/credit card at the time of the order.  All orders will be distributed at practice - estimated delivery at practice is September 19th.
  • Please note: there is a 12-item minimum order each for the football jersey and the "Dream" shirt, and a 6-item minimum order for the "JLC Spirit Squad" shirt that needs to be met in order to avoid a $20 set-up fee per design.  If you order one of these items and the minimum order does not get met, JLC will be charged for the set-up fees so the order can be sent to production without being delayed.  The set-up fee will then be split equally among all those who ordered that design, and your portion will need to be reimbursed to JLC before your order can be picked up.  Please don't let the possibility of the set-up fee deter you from ordering these items - we have always met our minimum orders in the past, but I would be remiss in my duties if I did not make everyone aware of the minimum order and set-up fee.
  • Finally, please note that all sales are final.  There are no refunds or exchanges by either Burghardt's or JLC for any spiritwear items that you purchase.  Please be sure to order the correct sizes (especially youth vs adult) and make sure any personalization is entered correctly.
Purchase recommendations
  • The microfleece jacket and hoodie worn over the JLC shell & bodyliner, and the yoga pants worn under the JLC skirt are great items for your cheerleader to wear at football games once the weather gets colder!
  • The "Juniors Fame Jersey" is a great item for your middle school cheerleader to wear to school on Football Fridays instead of her JLC uniform.  Please note that this item is "Juniors" sizing, not your typical Adult sizing. 
  • The stadium chair is a real "back-saver" at football games and competitions.  They will have the "Lancer" logo on them so you will be able to get many years of usage as your children go through the Lancer system!

Important Announcements ...

Installment #3 Past Due
  • Installment #3 was due on Saturday, August 25th.  
  • Per JLC policy, payment must be received in order for your daughter to participate in any JLC event.  Please bring your payment at the start of practice tomorrow.  Athletes with past due payments will sit out of all JLC events until their account is in good standing.
  • Payments received after August 30th will be assessed a $15 late fee.

Credit Card Processing Now Available!
  • Due to multiple requests, JLC can now process credit cards for installment payments, uniform orders, miscellaneous fees, etc through Square Card Reader.
  • We must have the actual credit card in hand, and the card holder present in order to process payments via credit card.  A 2.75% convenience fee will be added to your total when paying via credit card.  Checking debit cards can be accepted as well, but must be run as a credit card.
  • If you will be making a payment via credit card, please arrive 15 minutes prior to practice.  I will not run any credit card payments during practice time, and am limited at the length of time I am able to stay after practice.

Team Carbo Crams
  • We are looking for volunteers to host team carbo crams at their home for their team prior to competitions.  
  • Carbo Crams are typically a time for athletes to "carbo load" (eat alot of carbohydrates) in preparation of their event.  As cheerleaders, we typically use carbo crams as a time for the team to get together for dinner (not necessarily carb-heavy) and get all their nervousness and jitters out before competition.  They are typically held between 6 - 7:30 or 6:30 - 8pm (no later than 8:30am as the athletes need a good night's rest!)
  • The host family typically provides the main entree, with all other team members in attendance bringing a side dish, dessert, or contributing $ to the host family towards the main entree.
  • White team:  we are looking for hosts on the following dates: Friday 11/16, Saturday 1/5, Friday 2/1, and Friday 2/8.
  • Blue Team:  we are looking for hosts on the following dates:  Friday 11/16, Saturday 12/15, Friday 2/1, Friday 2/8, and Friday 3/2.
  • If you're willing to host one of these carbo crams, please email me with your preferred date.  Dates will be assigned first come, first served.
