  • The BC Cheer Squads are holding a cheer clinic on Thursday, September 20th from 5:30 - 8pm at BCHS for girls ages 5 - 14.
  • The fee is $25, and includes a clinic t-shirt and child's admission to the September 21st BC Varsity football game against Brookfield East (parents and other families members must pay admission into the game).
  • Download the registration form here.  I will collect forms and payment payable to "BCHS" at practice up through Monday, September 17th, and will hand-deliver the forms and payments to BC Cheer.  After September 17th, you will need to send in your form and payment on your own - please note registrations will be accepted on site.  Thanks!

JLC Emergency/Medical Information & Authorization Form
  • In light of recent injuries & accidents occurring outside of the JLC organization, we are bringing back JLC's Emergency/Medical Information & Authorization Form.
  • Please complete this form in its entirety - including Physician & Dentist Information, and Health Insurance Information and return it to me no later than Saturday, September 22nd.  Please don't leave any information blank - if a question is not applicable to your child, please write "N/A".
  • Download the Emergency/Medical Information & Authorization Form here.  Beginning September 24th, we must have this form in our files for your daughter to participate in all JLC events.

Cheer Safety & Concussion Education for Parents
  • Safety is the cornerstone of the JLC program.  JLC follows all NFHS and AACCA Cheer Safety Rules & Procedures, and often takes their rules one step further to ensure the safety of all JLC team members.
  • Our stunting motto is "Perfection Before Progression".  All JLC team members must understand that they must pass lower level stunt progressions in order to advance to the next higher skill level.  This can result in the entire stunt group being held at a lower stunt level until ALL stunt group members successfully pass stunt progressions.
  • JLC will never place your daughter into a stunt role in which she has not been properly trained.  If a stunt group member is absent, that stunt group will not stunt.  We do not switch around athletes to fill in for an absent team member.
  • JLC's policy on head injuries is simple - any athlete that obtains an injury to the head - no matter how slight the bump or blow, is required to sit out of the remainder of practice, and the parents are called.  Coach Uhrle is First Aid & CPR/AED certified by the American Red Heart Association, and is experienced in recognizing the signs and symptoms of concussions and post concussion syndrome.
  • It is critical for all JLC athletes to report all injuries to Coach Uhrle as soon as it has been received in order to receive appropriate care.
  • There are many great resources for parents to educate themselves on cheer safety, including concussions.  Here are a few links for you to explore ...
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
