Important Announcements ...

Bring on the Heat Recap
  • Congratulations to our White Team for placing 1st in the 3rd - 5th Grade Division at Bring on the Heat on January 6th!  There were a total of 3 teams in their division, and our white team did a wonderful job!
  • Congratulations also to Blue Team member Mimi for placing 2nd in the Youth All-Star Individual division.  There were a total of 3 entries in this division, and Mimi was competed very well against two All-Star cheerleaders.

Blue Team Tumbling
  • Session III is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 7th, and will run for 9 weeks.
  • Download the registration form here.  Completed forms and payments are due on January 2nd.

Attendance for the Remainder of the Season
  • Attendance at all remaining practices for the full practice is mandatory for all team members.
  • Any absence regardless of reason will result in the team member being pulled from choreography for the next scheduled competition, and potentially from their stunt group for the remainder of the season.  Coming to practice, but sitting out and not participating is considered an absence as you are physically absent from the mats and are not practicing with your team.
  • We have tried to accommodate the many absences thus far this season, but we are at a point in the season where all team members must attend practices in all fairness to the team members that are in attendance working hard and honoring their commitment to their team.  We are in the final stretch and each team has important final competitions coming up.  As all team members are currently choreographed in stunt groups, absences mean the team members in that stunt group that are at practice cannot do what they are at practice to do.
  • Team members that have exceeded the number of absences allowed for the season have been notified via email that any further absences will result in their complete removal from choreography and dismissal from the program.  Per JLC policy, team members that are dismissed from the program cannot attend the Awards Banquet and are prohibited from returning to the program for one full season.

Competition Waivers
  • Blue Team: please complete and return the following waivers to practice on Monday, January 21st!
  • It is each family's responsibility to complete and return their waivers in a timely manner.  Any team member that does not turn in their waiver will not be permitted to compete at that competition.

Quote of the Week ...

"We can't be afraid of change.  You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea.  Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don't have something better." ~ C. Joybell
