Important Announcements ...

Indian Invite Competition Waivers
  • Indian Invite competition waivers were sent home with all athletes last Monday.  Please return them ASAP.  Athletes that forget face 25 push-ups each time they forget to bring the waiver to practice.
  • Please be sure to complete every field on the waiver form, including medical/health insurance information.  Incomplete waivers will prevent an athlete from performing at the event.

Save the Date - Jr Lancer Night at BC Football
  • Jr Lancer Night at BC Football is scheduled for Friday, October 11th.  This event is mandatory for ALL JLC athletes - both Brookfield and Oconomowoc residents - to attend.  Competitive teams - if you do not attend, you forfeit your spot in our competition routine.
  • All athletes will receive free admission to the game.  More details will be shared in the next few weeks,

Football Awards Reception - Sign-ups needed!
  • Our Football Awards Reception will be held immediately following our 2nd Annual Lancer Cheer Showcase on October 23rd.  The Awards Reception is for JLC athletes and their immediate families only (think athlete parents and siblings).
  • Mrs. Crow is organizing the Awards Reception, and all families should have received an email to the Sign Up Genius.  If not, here's the link:
  • Rather than charging a fee for all families to attend, we are having the reception a potluck style event and ALL football families must bring either a dessert with a minimum of 2 dozen servings OR a $10 cash donation (due to Mrs. Crow by October 16th).
  • We have additional Volunteer Opportunities that need to be filled in order to make the Awards Reception a success - please see the Sign Up Genius link for more information.
  • If you would like additional family members or friends to attend the Awards Reception, an additional dessert (with a minimum of 2 dozen servings) or cash donation is required for every 4 additional family members.
  • Contact Mrs. Crow or Coach with any questions.

Quote of the Week ...

"To get up when you are down, to fight more intensely when you are struggling, to put in the extra effort when you are tired, to comeback when nobody expects you to, and to stand tall when everyone is pulling you down are what makes a champion." ~ Aproove Dubey
