Coming Up This Week  

Saturday, April 19th
  • JLC Open Gym @ Midwest Twisters - Hartland
    • 11:30 - 12:30pm, $10 per person, bring a friend!
    • We have traditionally held our summer tumbling session at Heat Athletics in Sussex, but Elite Tumbling LLC would like us to consider Midwest Twisters as a potential summer tumbling location.
    • This open gym is an opportunity for athletes and parents to "test drive" Midwest Twisters - check out the facility and the drive - before we commit to Midwest Twisters or Heat Athletics for our summer tumbling session.
    • Midwest Twisters is located at 602 Industrial Court, Hartland, WI 53029

Sunday, April 20th
  • Happy Easter to our JLC family - past, present, and future!

Thursday, April 24th
  • Spring Team Tumbling; Session I, Class 5 of 5
    • Elementary Tumbling: 6:15 - 7:30pm
      • Includes 15 minutes for setting up cheer mats
    • Middle School Tumbling: 7:15 - 8:45
      • Includes 15 minutes for warm-up, and 15 minutes for mat duty.

Sunday, April 27th
  • WHMS Run for the Hills
    • JLC has been invited to return for a 4th year of supporting the runners at the Annual WHMS Run for the Hill at Mitchell Park.
    • We would like a good turnout of cheerleaders from Sapphire and Titanium!  It's always a good time!
    • Cheerleaders should wear their JLC football jersey, black pants, athletic shoes, and have their hair in a ponytail with any cheer bow.
    • Please RSVP to Coach ASAP.  Confirmed cheerleaders:  Ana, Mackenzie, Meghan.

2014-15 Season Information 

2014-15 Parent Informational Meeting
  • Thursday, May 8th at 7pm at Wisconsin Hills Middle School.
  • Interested athletes and parents will have an opportunity to meet our coaching staff and to discover all that our program offers to the youth of Elmbrook School District.
  • New this season - uniform rentals are included in our tuition fees for all athletes!  We also have a brand new uniform for the 14-15 cheer season!
  • Uniforms will be fitted at this meeting - please bring your cheerleader with you!
  • We will also kick off two popular fundraisers at this event to help you with your tuition fees - a Thirty-One fundraiser and a Scentsy fundraiser!
  • Receive a FREE hoodie ($40 value, new 2014-15 design) when you register by June 1st!

2014-15 Competitive Team Tryouts
  • Try-outs for incoming 6th grade and older athletes will be held the week of May 19th.  
  • We will host a 3 day tryout clinic on May 19th from 7 - 8:30pm, and May 20th and 21st from 6 - 7:30pm.  Interested athletes must attend at least one clinic, but attending all three clinics is highly encouraged.  You will learn a specific chant, cheer and dance to perform during try-outs, as well as receive instruction on motions, jumps and stunting.
  • There is no fee to try-out for a JLC competitive team.  Please be aware that all competitive team members are required to also be an active member of a spirit squad.
  • Tryouts will be held on May 22nd.   Tryouts are closed, and athletes will try out in pairs.  Athletes will be permitted to select a friend to try-out with.
  • Results will be posted on the JLC website on Friday, May 23rd at 8pm.  Final scores are not shared, however judges comments are available upon request.

UCA Day Camp @ Badger High School
  • All 2014-15 registered cheerleaders 3rd grade and older are invited to attend a UCA Cheer Camp at Badger High School in Lake Geneva on Saturday, June 7th.
  • Cheerleaders will get a head start on their season and learn their football halftime cheer and dance at camp!  We hope you can make it!

Mandatory Competitive Team Stunt Camp - New Dates!
  • Tuesday, July 8th - Friday, July 11th from 1 - 4pm each day.
  • Mandatory for all 2014-15 competition team members to attend.
  • We will form carpools to share the rides each day.
  • More information will be shared at our parent information meeting on May 8th.

Confirmed Choreography Dates!
  • Tuesday, August 12th, Wednesday, August 13th & Thursday, August 14th!  
  • Mandatory for all 2014-15 competition team members to attend all choreography days in their entirety.  
  • Exact time and location are TBD.  More details will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.

Save the Date - Annual Team Bonding at Six Flags Great America!
  • Friday, June 27th
  • We will need drivers and chaperones (athletes 5th grade and younger will need a chaperone with them at all times at the park).
  • More details will be forthcoming in early June.
