    • Carbo crams are held on the Friday evening before a competition.  They are "drop and ditch" events for parents - social/team bonding times for the girls.  Some host families will also plan a craft for the girls to work on during the carbo cram, but this is not mandatory whatsoever.
    • Carbo crams are typically held for 1.5 - 2 hours between 6 - 8pm.  They should not go longer than 8pm due to early arrival times at competitions the next morning.
    • Carbo crams can be hosted in your home - you will be responsible for the main entree, and team members will potluck the sides, desserts, and beverages.
    • Carbo crams can also be hosted at restaurants (Panera, Noodles & Co, etc) - you will be responsible for contacting the restaurant to let them know we're coming, but all families will pay for their own meals.

Community Service Opportunity - Breakfast with Santa
    • Junior Lancer Cheer has been asked to help volunteer at a Breakfast with Santa event to be held on Saturday, December 13th benefiting the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's NICU.
    • I very strongly encourage all 5th - 8th grade competitive cheerleaders to volunteer at this fun event.
    • There are two shifts available for you to sign up - 7:30-9:30am or 9:30-11:30am.
    • More details will be shared as they are available.  All cheerleaders that volunteer will receive Community Service certificates at our Competitive Season Celebration in early March 2015.
