Important Announcements ...

Volunteers Needed
  • I am looking for Cheer Mom volunteers to assist with passing out flyers at your daughter's school during lunch hours (K-5 at elementary level, 6/7 at middle school level) to help spread the word about our upcoming registration night.
  • I need one parent for Brook El, one parent for Swanson, and one parent for WHMS.
  • Ideally, I would like this done during lunch hours on March 31st, but you can also do it the week prior.
  • Cheer moms will be responsible for contacting their school secretary and letting them know what day you will be coming in.  I will give you flyers to pass out to the girls.  Once you pick a date, please let me know as I'd like all girls attending that school to wear their team tee and competitive bow to help draw attention to being a cheerleader.
  • If your daughter is interested in posting a sign on her locker to help generate publicity about our Registration Night, please let me know.
  • If you're able to help with the lunch duty, please let me know.

2015-16 Season Info Sneak Peak
  • Our registration night is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st at 7pm at Wisconsin Hills Middle School.
  • We will again accept boys and girls entering 1st - 8th in Fall 2015.
  • We will have four football spirit squads.   There are no tryouts to be on a spirit squad.  Everyone that registers for our football spirit squad program is guaranteed placement onto a spirit squad. Placement will be determined by your grade in the fall, and grades will be combined depending upon the number of cheerleaders in each grade. Team assignments will be confirmed by mid-June.  I am considering taking each football squad to a competition next season - the Lions Pride Cheer Showcase at New Berlin Eisenhower High School in early November.
  • Football spirit squads will practice on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the summer, and 30 minutes prior to their football game on Saturdays in September & October.
  • We will have just one competitive team next season - a combined 5th - 8th grade team determined by tryouts.  All cheerleaders wishing to be on our competitive team must tryout.  The competitive team is a "cut" team, we do not guarantee placement on the competitive team for everyone trying out.  Competitive team tryout clinics will be held April 27th - 30th, with tryouts on May 1st.
  • Competitive Team Choreography will be held August 1st - 8th.
  • Please save Saturday July 4th for the Brookfield Independence Day Parade.
  • Competitive team practices during the school year will be on Sundays from 5 - 7pm at Heat Athletics, Mondays TBD at WHMS for mandatory tumbling, and Wednesdays TBD at WHMS.
