  • City of Brookfield Independence Day Parade

    • ALL cheerleaders are encouraged to march in the parade with us.  This event is mandatory for competitive team members.
    • Cheerleaders will wear their uniform shell, skirt, no-show white socks, and all white cheer or athletic shoes.  Hair will be up in a high centered ponytail with your white cheer bow.
    • Meeting time is TBD.
  • Practice Dress Code
    • This is a reminder that all cheerleaders are expected to follow our practice dress code.  T-shirt, shorts, closed toe athletics shoes.  All jewelry must be removed.  Nail length needs to be the appropriate length so that when looking at the cheerleader's palm, we cannot see the nail.
    • All hair should be pulled away from the face in a high, centered ponytail.  Pigtails/braids, while fashionable and cute, are not acceptable.  This is national cheer safety regulation and must be adhered to at all JLC practices and events.
    • We will start to enforce our practice dress code, with consequences of extra conditioning for athletes not following our dress code.  Please refer to the program handbook for more details.
