Coming Up This Week ...


Monday, July 4th

  • City of Brookfield Independence Day Parade
    • Meet between 9 - 9:30am in the back parking lot of Brookfield Central High School.  We are entry #41.
    • Cheerleaders will wear their uniform shell, skirt, black boycut briefs, no-show white socks, and all white cheer or athletic shoes.  Hair will be up in a high centered ponytail with your white cheer bow.  Bring your poms!
    • The parade route starts at Brookfield Central High School, turns west on Gebhardt Road, North on Calhoun Road, West on North Avenue, South on Norhardt Road, and we will end at the Post Office on Civic Drive.  We will have popsicles for all cheerleaders at the end of the parade.
    • Middle school cheerleaders will be permitted to find their own parents immediately after the parade (be sure to set up a meeting spot!).  Elementary school cheerleaders must be picked up at the post office.
    • Please be sure your daughter eats a good breakfast, and goes to the restroom before you drop her off.  The school building will be closed, and there are no nearby restrooms available.



Tuesday, July 5th
  • Game Team Practice
    • 5:30 - 7pm
    • Known absences: Avril (A), Gaby (D), Grace (A), Hanah (C), Lilly (C), Misty (B), Shaelyn (D), Sofia (B)
  • Competitive Team Practice
    • 7 - 7:30pm


Thursday, July 7th
  • Game Team Practice
    • 5:30 - 7pm
    • Known absences: Janiah (D), Hana (C), Lyla (D), Shaelyn (D), Sofia (B)
  • Competitive Team Practice
    • 7 - 7:30pm

Friday, July 8th
  • Summer Tumbling Class #3 of 10
    • 5:30 - 6:30pm

Important Announcements ...
  • Papa Murphy's Fundraiser
    • We will be participating in the Papa Murphy's PEEL-A-DEAL fundraiser to help families raise funds to reimburse their cheer fees or to help pay for tumbling classes, etc.  This is an optional fundraiser, and all families are invited to participate.
    • Families will pre-purchase a minimum of 10 fundraising cards by July 7th.  The cards are be purchased for $1 each.  Fundraising cards will be distributed at practice on Tuesday, July 12th.  You will then sell the cards for $10 each, for a net profit of $9 per card!  You will keep all profits and any unsold cards - once you pre-pay for your cards and then receive your cards, no monies or cards are returned to JLC.
    • Please email Coach for the order form to pre-purchase your cards.  Order forms and pre-payment are due on July 7th - no exceptions!
